How to wear ThatHair Halo Set?Updated 5 months ago

Getting your halo extension on is a breeze! Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro, this guide will equip you with all the tips and tricks you need to achieve flawless, natural-looking hair extensions every time. Let's dive in!

Begin by gently brushing your Halo hair extensions with a wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles and ensure smooth application.

Isolate the hair at your crown using the Rat Tail Comb from our 3-pc Styling Kit and create a top-knot using a hair tie or clamp to hold it in place. Leave some hair loose around your face to ensure a natural look and seamless blending with the extension.

Place the halo on your head, ensuring the wire is about an inch away from your forehead.

Adjust the Halo Wire

Pinch the bead and pull one side to make it bigger, or pull the other side to make it smaller.

Once the extension is in position, firmly press the back of the extension under the occipital bone (the small bump on the back of your head just above the nape of your neck) of your head to secure it in place.  For added security, you can use the included 2 pcs of bobby pins per halo extension. Simply insert them on either side of the halo to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.

Once the halo feels secured and comfortable, remove the hair tie or clamp from the top-knot, allowing your natural hair to blend effortlessly with the Halo extension. Use the Rat Tail Comb from our 3-pc ThatHair Styling Kit to carefully pick out sections of hair to cover the exposed wire, ensuring a seamless and natural appearance.

Then gently brush your hair together with the weft of the extension to achieve perfect blending and a seamless, natural look. For added volume, use the Bristle Hair Brush from our 3-pc ThatHair Styling Kit to tease the top of your hair and create a fuller look. Finally, finish by combing your hair neatly to achieve a polished and flawless hairstyle.

By following these steps, you'll achieve a flawless and natural-looking hairstyle with your Halo Hair Extension.

Quick Tips to Ensure Your Halo Stays Put

Keep your halo in place all day with these quick tips:

  • Proper Placement: Ensure it's not too far back and sits about an inch away from your hairline.
  • Hair Direction: Pull your hair over the wire to the side, not up, to prevent any unwanted lifts.

  • Secure with Bobby Pins: Use bobby pins to secure the band above your ears. There are 2 bobby pins included in every pack of halo hair extensions for added security.

  • Shake Test: Give your head a little shake to ensure a snug fit, making sure it’s not too tight.

With these tips and tricks, you're all set to rock your ThatHair Halo Extensions with confidence! Experiment with different styles, unleash your creativity, and enjoy the versatility of your halo extensions.

Happy styling!
