Can I Perm My ThatHair Halo Set?Updated 3 hours ago

No, we do not recommend perming your ThatHair Halo Set.

ThatHair Halo extensions are made with high-quality Kanekalon® synthetic fibers, which are designed to look and feel like natural hair while maintaining their style. Because these fibers are synthetic, they do not react to chemical treatments the same way natural hair does.

Applying perm solutions or other chemical processes may damage the fibers and affect the appearance of the extensions.

Perming works by chemically changing the internal structure of natural hair. Synthetic fibers such as Kanekalon® do not have the same structure, so they cannot be reshaped using perm chemicals.

Attempting to perm synthetic extensions may cause:

• Damage to the fibers
• Frizz or rough texture
• Loss of the original style
• Permanent changes that cannot be reversed

For this reason, we recommend avoiding chemical treatments on your Halo extensions.

Choose the Right Texture Instead

To make blending easier, ThatHair Halo Sets are currently available in two textures:

Straight
Wavy

Choosing a texture that closely matches your natural hair will help create a more seamless and natural-looking blend.

We are also working on introducing curly styles in the future.

Styling Tips

If your natural hair texture is different from your Halo extensions, you can lightly style your natural hair to help the two blend together.

For example:

• Straighten your natural hair when wearing straight extensions
• Add soft waves to your natural hair when wearing wavy extensions
